A large population of this weevil and its larva were found devouring the leaves of a Mangrove Trumpet Tree (Dolichandrone spathacea) in March 2019. The picture below showed the almost leafless tree and the leaves that were damaged by the weevil. Check out my post in April 2019 for more details on the sighting.
